Privacy Policy

The short version

FinYield collects nothing. We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial inputs - not your income, not your balances, not a single trade figure. All calculations are processed locally in your browser. No financial data is sent to external servers. There are no accounts to create, no analytics scripts, and no tracking pixels on this site. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, along with the one honest exception every ad-supported website carries: third-party advertising cookies.

Information we do not collect

To be exhaustive, FinYield never gathers any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers or credentials - there are no registrations, newsletters or logins, so there is nothing to hand over.
• Calculator inputs - salaries, expenses, savings balances, trade sizes, purchase prices or tax figures you enter remain on your device.
• Cookies set by us - FinYield itself sets no cookies, session storage or local-storage identifiers.
• Browser fingerprints - we run no fingerprinting or cross-site identification techniques of any kind.

Local processing

Every calculator on FinYield is a small program that runs inside your browser tab. When you type figures, they exist only in the memory of that tab for as long as it is open; they are not written to our servers because there are no servers to receive them. Closing or refreshing the tab erases everything you entered. Nothing you type here can surface in a data breach, because nothing you type ever leaves your device.

Cookies and third-party advertising

The one exception to the above is advertising. FinYield is free and supported by ads, which may be served by Google AdSense. In common with most advertising-funded websites:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies - including the DoubleClick DART cookie - to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

We do not control third-party cookies, and this policy does not extend to them - their use is governed by the advertising partners’ own privacy policies. If you prefer, your browser settings can block or delete cookies entirely; the calculators work perfectly without them.

Children’s privacy

FinYield is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the site has no registration and no first-party data collection of any kind, no child’s information can be gathered through our calculators. If you believe a minor has interacted with an advertisement in a way that shared personal data, contact us and we will help however we can.

Data security

The most secure data is data we never have. Because all computation happens locally and we keep no user records, there is no database to breach, no account to hijack, and no archive of your financial life to leak, sell or subpoena. This is security by absence - a structural guarantee rather than a promise.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, applicable law, or our advertising partners. Any revision will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date - the current date is November 2026. Material changes will be reflected in the short version at the top of this page.
