One inbox, a human on the other end
Contact FinYield
No forms, no ticket numbers, no bots. Just email.
The only channel
hello@finyield.appEvery message is read by the person who builds the calculators. Questions that deserve an answer get one, usually within two business days.
What to write about
- Corrections - Found a number that looks wrong, or an explanation that could be sharper? Math corrections get priority - the whole promise of this site is figures you can verify, so errors are treated as emergencies.
- Calculator requests - Wish a tool existed? Say so. The roadmap is built from reader requests, and the calculators that ship fastest are the ones described with a real decision behind them.
- Feedback - Confusing wording, a chart that reads badly on your phone, a layout that fights you - interface complaints are as valuable as math corrections. Screenshots help.
- Business and advertising - Sponsorship questions and advertising enquiries are answered from the same inbox, with the same candor: placements stay unobtrusive or they do not happen.
Why there is no contact form
Because a form is a server. Someone has to receive, store and process what you type, which means credentials to protect, a database to secure and a policy to write about how long your words sit in a queue. FinYield is built to have none of that: the calculators run entirely in your browser, the pages are static files, and there is nothing to breach. Email is the honest channel for a site with no backend - it goes straight to a person, and no intermediary stores more than your message itself.
What happens after you hit send
Your message lands in a normal mailbox and is read like one. Corrections are checked against the code the same day when possible; requests are weighed against the roadmap; and replies come from the same address, so the thread stays with you. There is no newsletter to join, no follow-up sequence to escape, and your address is never added to any list - it is used to answer you, and that is where its job ends.
A note on privacy
Send only what you are comfortable putting in an email. Financial details are never needed: the calculators run on your device, so whatever numbers you entered stays with you and cannot be looked up, replayed or attached to your message. Describe the inputs in general terms if it helps reproduce an issue, and never include account numbers, balances or identity documents. Your curiosity is welcome; your data is not required.
Prefer to browse first?
Most answers already live on the site. The about page explains how the tools work and why they are free, the privacy policy details exactly what is and is not collected, and the terms of service covers acceptable use. Each calculator page also documents its formula in plain language, which resolves most “where did this number come from?” questions faster than any inbox could.
All calculations are processed locally in your browser. No financial data is sent to external servers.
